How it works

EMM, the organising committee of the global Marketing Book of The Year competition, made up a long list of 20 marketing books all written in English and each of them published in 2013.
This process ran from January 2 – 15, 2014.

In Phase 2: All marketers across the globe are invited to vote for their marketing book selection. Go to nominated books  to view details of the top 20 books. After providing your vote click the ‘Vote & Win’ button and your vote is valid.
This voting process will run from February 1 – 14, 2014.
The result of this voting process, a shortlist of top five marketing books, will enter the next phase.
This top five will be published in a random order at ‘and the winner is’ on February 15.

In phase 3: each of the 15 International Marketing Executive panellists of our Senior Advisory Board of Expert Marketers , will review the short list of top 5 ranked books of 2013. They will indivually rank the top five choices in their personal order.
This phase will run from February 15 – 28, 2014.

In phase 4: after counting the individual votes from the Advisory Board, the winner will be announced online on Marketing Book of the Year on March 1, 2014.

We will feature the book, a detailed review and an interview with the author in our Spring 2014 issue.
